Our work with Jungalow on their pop-up (opening soon in Los Angeles) has continued to be a delightful project. With interesting builds, great colors and a great design collaboration, this promises to be a project for the history books.
WHOA, buddy! When a crew tells you they love the set, you know you've done something right.
Creating a nostalgic and modern take on the Turtles' Lair was an exciting opportunity. Combing our sentimental memories with research into more modern iterations led to an exciting amalgamation of visions. With on site additions and care, Freddy A Pelaez-Posada put the finishing touches onto a set that really screamed to be seen. We'll update with photos and the final video when the time comes. Over at Revenge Of, May featured the return of LOTZILLA, but this year the King has taken a more relaxing role as the ParKing of Paradise. Kicking up their heels and relaxing in the summer sun is exactly what the ParKing (and everyone else) needs right now. With lots of vendors and photo ops, the event was a huge success and only promises to get bigger as the summer continues with the next event scheduled for June 17th. When we were approached to build the NBCU FYC House, we jumped at the opportunity. Bringing glamor, precision and experience to this build was a breeze given clear communication with our excellent clients, Hudson Gray. We're very proud with how this project turned out and look forward to more projects like this in the future! Framework Studio presented us with the fun opportunity to dress the ESPN offices for two spots featuring Stan Verrett, Ashley Brewer and George Kittle. Manipulating graphics, running around the ESPN offices and covering EVERYTHING with Across the Spider-Verse art was a blast. Check out the final results! Photo courtesy of Michi. Every so often, you get the awesome opportunity to collaborate on a project that EVERYONE is excited about, and this was a dream come true. When Brain Dead approached Revenge Of with their desire to revive their Magic the Gathering tournament, FTB was excited at the opportunity to flex our design muscles for an exciting event. Producing tables that fit four playfields, designing a prize wheel to randomize the commander decks, a booth that would function as home-base for the Revenge Of team, a leaderboard featuring the iconic Brain Dead logo and the trophy to top all trophies, FTB went ALL OUT. The event was a screaming success and everyone who participated had an excellent afternoon. The tournament ended in an upset, but the possibility of an ongoing event series was solidified. We had the titilating pleasure of fabricating a pair of coffins for the Dragula: Titans World Tour. Last night we were invited to the Los Angeles performance to see them in their final resting place and boy howdy, they turned it up! Here's a few photos of the works in progress and the rendering that started them off. As it would turn out, they were also featured in "The Boulet Brothers' Halfway to Halloween Special" on Shudder and AMC+. Jeff and Kevin recently took a trip to Colorado to talk about some upcoming project, but also drop in to check on some we never had the opportunity to visit.
