At FTB.DESIGN, we were honored to collaborate with Hudson Grey to bring their vision for the Squid Game Season 2 premiere event to life in Los Angeles on December 12, 2024. Our team, passionate fans of the series, dedicated ourselves to fabricating immersive elements that captured the show's intense and captivating atmosphere.

Earlier this year, we had the incredible opportunity to collaborate with our friends at Master of Shapes on a groundbreaking project—the Adobe Sphere. This interactive, AI-generated experiential pop-up is designed to engage users in a unique, personalized way, making each interaction truly one-of-a-kind.
When Master of Shapes approached us to help bring their vision to life, we knew we were in for something special. Tasked with fabricating the base and kiosks for this innovative installation, our team got to work, creating structures that were not only functional but also enhanced the overall aesthetic of the Sphere experience.

The Adobe Sphere has already made its mark in some major cities. It kicked off its journey in San Francisco, making a splash at the Chase Center during an event with the Golden State Warriors. From there, it headed to Texas for the MLB All-Star Game, drawing in crowds with its captivating, user-prompted interactions. It’s always gratifying to see our work traveling across the country, becoming a part of such high-profile events!
We couldn’t be prouder to have played a role in this exciting project, overseeing the fabrication and installation of the Adobe Sphere as it brought interactive art and technology to life. And the journey isn’t over yet—look for the Sphere soon in Kansas City, MO, where it will continue to inspire and engage audiences with its cutting-edge experience.
Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to support this incredible project on its cross-country tour!

Designing and building games is one of the most enjoyable and creatively rewarding aspects of what we do. Every project is an opportunity to innovate, but working on The Other Games for Peacock was a truly exciting experience.
The process was a collaborative effort that pushed the boundaries of what’s possible in today's entertainment realities. Our team was tasked with fabricating and developing games that not only entertained but also met the high-stakes demands of competitive television. The challenge was exhilarating—how do you take big-picture ideas and bring those competitive experiences to reality that translate well both on-screen and in person?

We’re excited to share that our shop and fabrication practices have officially been certified as a green business through Glendale’s Green Business Certification Program! This achievement is a testament to our commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility in every aspect of our work.
The certification process was spearheaded by our very own Aryn Bomer, whose dedication and hard work were instrumental in ensuring that we met all the stringent requirements to become a certified green facility in the state of California. Aryn meticulously evaluated our practices, made necessary adjustments, and guided us through the entire certification process, which was no small feat!
Of course, this accomplishment wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible flexibility and support from Kevin Mincin, who helped implement the changes needed to meet the certification standards. Thanks to their combined efforts, we successfully completed the process in July, and we couldn’t be more proud to hold this certification.
Being a green business means we’re doing our part to minimize our environmental footprint, from the materials we use to the waste we reduce and recycle. It’s a reflection of our ongoing commitment to creating a better, more sustainable world—one project at a time.
We’re thrilled to be recognized for our efforts, and we look forward to continuing to innovate and improve our practices to meet the highest environmental standards.
Thank you for supporting us on this journey, and here’s to a greener future!

Whoooooo! Let me tell you. After the last few weeks, I’m ready for a few quiet hours.
I had the pleasure of kicking things off with Tiger House Films, working on a commercial for New York Life. Sue Oneto and Chad Ellis rounded out an excellent team. Together, we fit five scenes with multiple looks and setups into one house in Venice. Then, the next day, we created another six scenes spread of a university campus in Burbank into a single day. With so many moving parts, working with a supportive crew and clients like Jason Kent Carpenter and Justin Bell was excellent.

Our next commercial was arranged by our friend Josh Harris for 4th Wall Entertainment for Purina. While I can’t say much about this one yet, Sue and I enjoyed watching all those animal actors at work.

And in the middle of all that, FTB.Design produced, fabricated, and ran the launch party for Moon Man, a new comic series from Image Comics created by Scott “Kid Cudi” Mescudi and Kyle Higgins and featuring a cover created by our friend Tristan Eaton for the event.

Moon Man is a collaboration between Scott "Kid Cudi" Mescudi and Kyle Higgins. "Ramon is ready for a quiet life. Whatever went wrong on that failed moon mission, whatever happened in the missing minutes the cameras didn't capture, all he really wants is to settle down back home. But those missing minutes hold an Earth-shattering secret—and, with all eyes turned to him, Ramon will soon find himself becoming something the world has never seen before".

Friend of the shop Matt Eaton was on hand to document the event and took some truly amazing photos and footage.

Buckle up! November 11th saw an action-packed night of excitement as Revenge Of played host to the highly-anticipated launch celebration for Netflix's 'Scott Pilgrim Takes Off.'
We at FTB.DESIGN were beyond thrilled to be the driving force behind this event, one that celebrated a franchise deeply adored by fans worldwide. The anticipation in the air was palpable, and the energy, electrifying. The occasion took on a life of its own, transcending from just an event to a spectacular celebration of creativity.
What propelled it to a whole other level? The night wasn't just about marking a launch; it transitioned into a grand reunion when creators Bryan Lee O'Malley, Edgar Wright, and BenDavid Grabinski graced the fans with their presence. Fans were holding their breath as they sat in a panel discussion with these extraordinary creators, discussion the place music has held in a story that began on paper, moved to film, converted to a retro video game and returned to television, with Anamanaguchi and composer Joseph Trapanese.
For an event of this magnitude, our focus at FTB.DESIGN was to curate an experience that echoed the spirit of advent and excitement embodied by Scott Pilgrim's universe. We aimed to create an atmosphere that paid homage to the beloved franchise's essence while providing an engaging space for fans and creators to come together.
In the end, the launch celebration for 'Scott Pilgrim Takes Off' turned out to be just as exciting, daring, and endearing as Scott Pilgrim and Ramona Flowers, themselves. These cherished moments of revelry and nostalgia serve as a testament to our ongoing commitment to creating meaningful and memorable events that enhance he material and engage the fans in new ways.
As always, we're incredibly humbled to have been a part of this momentous occasion. And we're eagerly looking forward to seeing the awesome adventures that 'Scott Pilgrim Takes Off' will take us on!
Stay tuned for more exciting event recaps and behind-the-scenes insights from our dedicated team at FTB.DESIGN!

On October 28, a unique gathering took place that resonated with the captivating vibrancy of creative comic brilliance. FTB had the extraordinary privilege of producing the "Comic Creator Block Party with Patton & Jordan" for Revenge Of.
More than a gathering, the event turned out to be an incredible symposium of over 30 comic creators. Celebrating the wide range within the comics sphere, this larger-than-life party brought together prolific writers, remarkable artists, and innovative minds working on adaptations of comics in different mediums. We even had creators who produced unique comics inspired by other mediums.

The Block Party presented an incredible opportunity for fans and aspiring creators to rub elbows with some of the most influential figures in the comic industry. Who could pass up the chance to meet their favorite creators face-to-face?
The energy was infectious and even the very creators who were our honored guests couldn't help but express their enjoyment. It wasn't just about meeting fans; it was a celebration of the boundless creativity, relentless passion, and mutual admiration that makes the comic community a truly special world.

At FTB, we pride ourselves on empowering and celebrating creative communities, and the "Comic Creator Block Party with Patton & Jordan" was a fantastic embodiment of this ethos. It was not just a successful event; it was an affirmation of the incredible talent and creativity thriving in the world of comics today.
In the end, our take away from this phenomenal party is that creativity knows no bounds, and as long as we have stories to tell, the world of comics will continue to prosper.
The Comic Creator Block Party was a blast, and we cannot wait to explore what the future holds for similar initiatives. Here's to many more nights of celebrating the astonishing world of comics!

When a show comes along featuring iconic casts and moments from legendary reality shows, who would you call to flip a home into a House of Villains?

You know it's your fam over at FTB.DESIGN.

When Irwin Entertainment called us up to create a house to hold all these legendary Villains, we dug into our past, invented memorable moments, and got ready to be disruptive.

Get ready - 'cause we went ALL out on this one! Drawing from our decades of collective experience, we unleashed every bit of creativity we got to shape this wicked crib. Our mission was to create a web of villainy, a crib that oozes deceit and mischief, nodding to the iconic shows that spiced up our reality TV lives with their unforgettable antagonists.

We stirred up a concoction of the old and the new, brewing a design that echoes the essence of classic reality design tropes while injecting fierce, fresh vibes to match today's pop culture. We didn't just pull inspiration from these legendary villains; we turned tables and spiced things up, molding their space to intensify their villainous natures.
Our approach - a mix of retrospective nostalgia with forward-thinking design - was no easy task. We channeled our inner villains, became architects of a deliciously evil lair while ensuring that each corner could tell a thousand stories!

The cherry on the top, brining to life some truly devious challenges to spark the cast members into new lows and self-serving heights.

And let's be real - it turned out to be a firecracker of a project, even if we do say so ourselves! The end product is a visual feast, a testament to our killer skills, and a benchmark for future projects. So when E!'s House of Villains hits your screens, you'll know that everything screams FTB.DESIGN!
Because that's how we roll. Making wicked seem cool, turning villains into heroes (sorta), and pushing boundaries in design to bring you reality TV like you've never seen before!
